Kai Yohay Ben Dov:
Studied music at Rimon School of Music (Ramat Hasharon, Israel) and
sound engineering at the Institute of Audio Research (New York City, U.S.),
after which he took a two-year master course in sonology and composition at the
Royal Conservatory in The Hague, the Netherlands.
Kai has composed film scores, mainly for documentaries as well as videos, and specializes in sound and vision, concept development and production.
He has composed original music for dance companies in London and New York,
produced and worked with many top artists in studios around the globe.
He plays professionally on six different instruments and also acts as an acoustic advisor/planner for studios and music venues.
Kai has worked in studios such as Electric Ladyland, Back Pocket Studios,
Atlantic Records studios and more. He has performed at venues such as: The
Cutting Room (NYC), Joe’s Pub (NYC), Mercury Lounge, and more. Artists he has collaborated with include: Sting (musician), James Blunt (musician),
The Churchills (group), Ben Taylor (musician), Angelic Kidju (musician),
Barry Saharof (musician), Yoav Ben Dov (sculptor), Catherine Hourihan
(Chirographer), Christopher Tudoe (Chirographer) and many more.
